First stock long-block SRT-4 in the 10s!

He is not on here, but is a very good friend of mine, and I thought I would share. Some of you may have seen it on PAtuned or the SRT forums.

Last Wednesday, 9/8/10, zerorwhp as he is known on the other forums, became the first bone stock long-block SRT-4 in the 10s. Oil pan and valve cover have never been removed. He drove the car for the entire 700mi round trip to/from Ohio.

zeroRWHP and Realtune Performance First Bone Stock Motor in the 10's!

Proof that the most important part of your engine is the tune.

SRT-4's are amazing. If they were AWD they would have been one of the best things America ever produced.

Not impressed, I mean if i took out my passenger seat Id run 10's too..

KIDDING!!,

And very Nice, I've always been a fan of 4 cylinder FWD cars running sick times reminding the AWD, Big engine, and RWD guys that all though its harder, its possible.

That a great accomplishment, but I can't see that car being reliable for long at those hp levels, regardless of how good the tune is. I bet the first thing to go is the head gasket. Not trying to be negative at all, it's just the reality.

Its pretty decent of all of you non srt4 owners that give props to the neon. There are still some that doubt and hate because it is, "just a neon". But regardless it is much appreciated. i respect all of your cars as well. In all actuality its not the car, its the people. I could careless what you drive, so long as you are respectful and love the sport.

congrats to zerorwhp.

Now does anyone wanna by my neon? lol

Also agree %100. Unless he grannies the car on a daily basis

Credit for list to 'BoostingSnail'

- Forced Perf. modified Stage 3 Mopar Turbo (47lb/min comp. wheel), Externally gated
- Larger Intercooler, Ported Stock Intake Manifold, 62mm Throttle Body
- Walbro 255 pump, 1:1 Rising Regulator, Inj. Size??, C16, AEM EMS

He was initially going for it with full interior but ended up shedding some weight as you can see in the video.

Yeah this has been brought up a lot. Real Tune uses that track for the majority of their testing and apparently they just sort of let the Real Tune crew slip through the cracks.
