Well it sucks for the car owner to have his engine blown up but you really cant blame the dyno for that... i lost an engine (rod bearings) on the dyno but i knew the risk... so yeah it sucks but its the chance you take. i just rebuilt and moved on.. if you take your car to a dyno and you dont take the preventative measures to make sure your car is ok ...ie fresh oil , fresh plugs, etc its up to you...no one else.
