Yeah. The Cobra is a monster when it comes to torque. I have to say, there is something beastly about that car.
If the EVO/STI wasn't here in the states... I would consider the big snake. The sight and sound of that thing launching are something to behold.
And stock vs. stock, the Cobra usually has a higher trap speed. I've seen about equal quarter mile times however (low 13.3, 13.2 etc.)
But I think it says a lot when the little EVO keeps getting attacked by some of the heaviest iron on the street.
And the EVO was never intended as a drag racer (it's a rally car.)
There seems to be a rivalry growing between the Cobra and the EVO, almost more then the EVO/STI. I've raced more Cobras then I can count... and each time... it feels like war.
