Personally, I think this whole thing is kinda stupid. While seeing some tookpick-looking kid w/ his pants at his knees is annoying, to try to link it to gang activity is a FAR stretch. And 93 days in jail?? WTF!? Honestly, this seems like a case of bored police officers looking for new ways to harass the people that they swore to protect. Also could open up a TON of profiling cases. What about some of the skaters who also dress kinda like that, with their pants hanging low? It isn't just the "I wanna be a gangsta yo" kids who do this.

Also, to the comments of drug dealers dressing in the huge gangster t-shirts and sagging as hell pants.... ive started to see some dressing in polo shirts, nicer jeans, and clean sneakers around in Providence (I used to be able to see deals go down all the time at my old apt). So, the terrbile dressing for them around here has started to stop.
