The key to doing anything is read read read and really understand. I would say I have done 95% of my installs and the rest was with guys who taught me the things I didnt know. TST has plenty of guys who know very very well how to work with turbo cars. Turbo cars are very picky and when you mess up its a train wreck.
but when you have a completely stock car there is one way to go about it. Open up your pipes, direct air to where it should be and make sure your car isnt struggling to do what you want, the second your car struggles is the second that it kicks you in the nuts for making it do it.
Stock turbos can create decent fun power, and cars naturally are detuned from the factory.
the new GTR is making almost 500 stock imagine what a few pounds of boost and proper flow for creating more power can do.
Also take into consideration your biggest power gain wont be allowing for more boost but more or less creating room for the air mass created to move freely out allowing more in its place. Cooling is also a big factor, luckly for you, your car comes with a FMIC. Although small its still upfront. Thats better than most Subie guys can say.
