Guy parks on street and gets 2 boots put on his car, puts his car on dollies and pushes it into his garage (not a DD). Calls parking authority and tells them to come get their boots, they say pay the fine, he refuses. They call the cops and the cops say they cant do anything because he hasn't technically stolen or vandalized anything. They take off the boots without getting the fine and threaten to sue him.
The next day, the parking authority takes it out on all the other residents by booting anything that was parked crooked.
Last I checked the guy was trying to get a petition and take donations for his court defense and was trying to get the local media involved.

slow day at work...
Guy continues to argue with parking auth and gets copy of their contract w/ the HOA. He points out that the PA had been charging $140 instead of $90 that the HOA agreed on. He also finds out that they were required to give 2 warnings before being able to boot.
Guy doesn't get arrested but after pointing these facts out to the HOA people start getting warnings instead of immediate boots. He is also told that the boot removal fine is now $40.
