Great video. Only a true F1 fan or someone who ejoys the technical side of racing would enjoy that entire video. Everything on that car is one of a kind and state of the art. It was a lot better to watch than NASCAR.

To me the whole race looked lik a publicity stunt for BMW. A few years ago Williams and BMW were one of the top F1 teams. This year BMW and Williams had a very bad year and there were talks about BMW leaving Williams and starting their own factory team like Ferrari or Toyota. Mercedes is still partners with McLaren and Honda with BAR. So I think BMW was using it to gain their image back and also as a marketing tool to promte their new M5 car.

Of course the F1 car would dominate that race, but it was fun to watch the F1 blow by the M5. Although I wonder how next year the new engines will sound as they go from the high reving V10s to Turbo V8s.

Speed Channel needs to play more 5th Gear.
