is there a way to avoid that? I assume this is only a problem at dealers? Also, when you work at a dealership that pays you on-the-clock hours and not wrench-in-hand hours, do you get screwed as well or does the dealer eat the loss? That seems like a really ****ty deal and surely not every job can be like that.
