Two of my offers were from large companies like Sunoco and PJM Interconnection, but I decided to go with a smaller engineering firm because I thought they would be more likely to teach me (rather than go with the large corp just so I could say I worked for them). And yea, what ever happened to the OP?

I totally agree with you 100%. I know its part of the game but truely think that if you do things right, and you have the right mentallity about it all along with a good personality, you will make something eventually. Its just when people rely fully on the fact that they know someone that bothers me. If you know people and work hard to get there, thats when I truely think it makes sense. I have worked very hard in my past and currently, no matter what I have done, and I know that it will get me a great position at a promising job sometime soon.
