They have the right to do that. And I have the right to never consider purchasing one.
I think that from a buyers point of view, it is absolutely ridiculous. However, they are covering themselves. They shouldn't HAVE to warranty half the parts that they do, because stupid drivers broke the parts. Warranties should not cover stupidity, and it looks like they put their foot down.
The lesson is, beat on your GT-R on the street. If it doesn't break, take it to the track and give it a try!
