I don't think ATC got free tickets. I think, like everyone else involved in the show, they bought some discounted rate tickets and are giving them out for free.
For those that aren't sure if you want to pay the $10 or $12 to get into the show, think of it this way, you get to spend an entire day looking at cool cars AND helping to raise money for a children's charity.
