However it's 1/1000 and the first Mugen Honda to ever make it to the U.S. The parts are going to be really rare cause your going to need proof of ownership of a Mugen Si & a corresponding vin # to purchase any replacements. So looks like they are taking the exclusivity of this car serious and protecting the owners resale value.

Anyway, here is the est. MSRP breakdown on cost of the parts:

Front Under Spoiler $529

Shift Knob $101.80
Mugen Suspension $1293.60
GP Wheels (08 style) $2317.60 (set)
Exhaust (pre chamber, muffler) $1,000 (just a guess cause this exhaust isn't available anywhere but judging by other Mugen exhausts thats what I would guess.)

Not all figures are exact.

So that on top of what a normal Si costs and inflation do to the fact its 1/1000, and thats where you get your price.

Love it or hate it I think the Mugen Si and the S2k CR are steps in the right direction for Honda and I think they are just testing the market here in the US.
