I was at the second one and never got kicked out...the ranger actually came over to look at my BF's supra and his friends RX7...so i guess they were trying to get rid of the crowd.
And the reason for the Sandy hook meet being broken up was it being to close to beach season...friend of mine is a cop in sea bright and said that they dont want meets to be held there anymore.
