Well I paid for half of all this anyway
I ended up going with a Nikon D40X with the standard 18-55 but also bought a nikon 55-200 lens and a 0.5x wide angle marco lens. As well with that it came with:
3GB SD Card
Lens cleaning kit
2 high res fliters
a new lithium battery
etc
cheap flash (soon to be replaced)
Im so excited to use it I was playing with the 55-200 nikon lens and loved it. The lens hood helped alot for the sun glare as well. Not only did I get that but on friday my computers hard drive crashed and I had to get extensions on all my finals for monday so I could graduate. I also bought a new mac book pro with a 250GB hard drive. That should hold all my photos lol Its different then the rebel xt I used but Ill have to adjust.
An associates degree in graphic design with a minor pf photography after 2 years!
