Yes, you can buy a pistol grip shotgun in PA at age 18, so long as the barrel is over 18.5" and the overall length is 26" or greater.

The shotgun that you are interested in falls under being LEGAL, and you are legally entitled to purchase that shotgun at 18 years old.

I advise you to learn basic safety rules, take a couple of self defense and safety training classes, and practice with the gun in which you intend to protect yourself and your family from savage criminals.


Also, keep in mind that bad things NEVER happen to good people, and when robbers break in to houses, they NEVER shoot, harm, or otherwise kill the homeowner and occupants.



EDIT: I want to be clear that I don't know NJ's state law (but I'm pretty sure that you can't have a pistol grip shotgun, not positive though), or any of the surrounding states. If someone in a different state is reading what I typed, be sure to check your state law.
