When I had my '04 I consistently got 29-31mpg. Just something that you need to get used to.
Also, DEFINATELY get an aftermarket header
without the cat. A blown motor isn't what you want if you're looking to get rid of it!!! Those motors had the tendency to suck parts of the precat back into the motor causing some sweet blown motors.
