I had a cop pull me over for speeding using Vascar and I asked him he said the detector was okay to be there. I just curious if 1) he can harass me on Private Property and 2) if the radar detectors are illegal.

A Police officer can conduct an investigation. In this case the property you were on was open to the public, not yours, and not inside. Radar detectors are not illegal in PA unless there has been a Law change Im unaware of. As for mounting it on your widshield hes got you there you can not obstruct the view with anything. Title 75, section 4524
The Lights are an inspection violation.
