The one problem is the sizing..I have strut rub. If the dealer doesn't take care of it, I need too. I don't have the $$ to ball out, and a good solution is going down to 235. It'd be 235/45/17 right?

Now what if I want to go up in the rear..max ive read is 275...would 265 or 255 be 265/40/17 and 255/45/17?

Tirerack knows about the strut rub issue and they usually call to tell if a certain tire won't fit even with the 245/45/17 size. I don't want to replace these things twice before I really get good rubber, and since its more of a transition, id like to experiment.

Thoughts?
