No leaf springs on that car...
I mistook the bottom of the ladders in the opening shots for leaf springs.

I still don't see evidence of shocks, or even a piece of driveshaft attached to the rear. I think that thing had too much torque for the rear components as is, not figuring if it was a bad weld or not.

*shrug*

Who knows.
