While cleaning your MAF is a good idea for maintenance, you will not gain 4-10 hp from it. The test would be based on taking a DIRTY MAF, dynoing the car, then cleaning it and re-dynoing it. So, you may recover lost hp by cleaning it, but you certainly aren't gaining anything new. Not to mention that simple electronics cleaner is the exact same thing, just in a less flashy can.
