I'm not sure where the water therm is but if it is not where the water is actually being heated in the engine, it might not be circulating to the therm. Or for that matter, I've hoped that yu've chcked your water level because the engine could be burning up and the therm read fine with no water in it.

ya there was still water in it. thankfully before i left to go to the track i filled it up to the top.
I'm gonna go get the new belts today see what happens.
It happened when i was racing my buddy's sti. lol damn subie lol its cool though.
