Thanks, they are two of the most amazing people I know. Bright sensitive and caring. I hope the world doesn't chew 'em up too much, but I'm trying to nurture those good qualities while helping them deal with the @$$holes of the world. It's pretty incredible how "catty" even 9-10 year old girls can be
"You're not popular, so-and-so is way more popular than you" is what some supposed "it girl" said to my daughter in school last year. We asked my daughter to count her friends, and she realized she was in fact popular, and that the "it girl" probably had fewer friends. Parenting can be tough, but it's very rewarding.
