I think it's awesome when they know what they are talking about, but the problem I find sometimes with a girl who knows the insides and outs of her car is that since she is a girl, she absolutely feels the need to put on a display of her knowledge and will look for any little excuse to show you that she does know what she is talking about. I find it a turn off just when people are like that in general; they will just turn any conversation into a tangent that they know everything about so they just look awesome. By no means are they all like that though, not at all.
