I stopped by the shop today, because I'm paranoid when it comes to my car, and discussed things with the guys who'll be doing the work. They aren't going to get to it today, but they should have the job done by either late tomorrow night, or at the latest noon friday. I have heard nothing but good reviews from this place, even though the price is steeper than the other quotes I recieved (also from well spoke-of shops), but after towing this was the cheapest route (barely, since towing was a ripoff and a half--2 miles from the tow guys house to mine, 2 miles to the shop from my house, .75 miles back to his house from the shop. under 5 miles for 55 bucks)

I wasnt home when he came, so by the time he called to tell me he was at my house--I was down the road--the car was already lifted BY THE FRONT TIRES--rwd--and moving out. When we got to the shop--I followed, hearing scrapes of the exhaust (doesnt look damaged, but the sound made me want to kill babies). Hopefully he didn't cause damage to the diff or the tranny. R154s are pretty strong, so I'm not terribly worried, but I wasnt happy when I confronted him about it, and he had no idea.

/offtopic rant off

Yeah, the exhaust angle is pretty severe, but it fits the car well in my opinion, compared to similar pipes I've seen without the angle. I like the stock exhaust look alittle better actually, but the sound and power increases cannot be argued with. I can't wait to get the dp and cat flipped and see how she growls
