You just gotta look around and before you know it a deal might fall into your lap. I got lucky when looking for mine as it popped up 2 months after searching and I snagged it for 6k. It had 103,000 on motor, 40,000 on trans I think (in that range).
For 6-7k you could definitely get an RS, just keep looking.
