Ill explain: the Holden Monaro has been around for some time now. It was designed to be the Monaro so its a Monaro. The one you see in this video is a Vauxhall but its basically a Monaro.

My point is, taking a car, rebadging and renaming it does NOT make it a new car.

So that car is a Monaro and will ALWAYS be a Monaro not a G-T-O.

Exceptions to that rule is when the car is designed to be sold under both names. So if the car was built and AT THAT TIME, destined to be sold in the US as the G-T-O and overseas as the Holden Monaro/Vauxhall "xxxxx", it would be a G-T-O but it wasnt. They decided like 4 years later to sell it as a G-T-O.

Ask any old school G-T-O owner and they will tell you the same.
