Rice rules! I love about every kind of rice. I love beans too, so I eat beans and rice of all sorts, black beans, red beans, Cuban style, New Orleans style, a lot of good Caribbean and Central American influenced rice combos. My buddy from Texas who now lives in Abington makes about the best dirty rice I've ever tasted. Little bits and pieces of bbq brisket and rib meats floating around in it, maybe some chicken pieces, some of the rice kerrnels are crispy some are soft, for a variety of textures and crunch. It reminds me of good Chinese house fried rice but better. Last year or so I've been liking the Texmati rices ...nice flavor http://www.riceselect.com/texmati.htm I also like the Italian varieties of risotto, very yummy. I love rice pudding.

I guess I'll have to find some kind of rice thing for lunch now.
