Take it from me, let someone else tune your car.

It will save you from the worst migrane you've ever had.

My car has been just that, a constant head ache for the past month and a half. I tune my own car, and for a while I was using the free stuff for Hondas, aka Crome. I was having issues with it on the dyno the first time I was there, on top of that I was blowing couplers and had a leaking BOV. The next time I went nothing connected and all I did was waste everyone at RTtuning's time. Vince hooked me up with Hondata S300 for a good price and I've just gotten it finally on the car.

It's a really simple software to use, I was surprised. Car runs a lot better on it too. Yesterday I spent about 3 hours street tuning it, just driving around. Was pretty happy with it, didn't get a chance to street tune boost quite yet but planned on doing that in the morning. This was my low cam map, solid AFRs through most of partial throttle with a slight problem with it going rich at high RPM very low load. Let me make this very clear to everyone reading. I went for a ride at about 10pm later that night, came home, shut off the car and did not touch anything at all until the morning.

So I wake up this morning, go out to the car and fire her up. Or at least try to. It wouldn't start. Nothing, at all. 2 hours I tried everything I could possibly think of to get the car to start, with absolutely no success. Started over againd with a completely different basemap, much much much richer than my current map. Car started right up. Another 2 hours of street tuning later, my AFRs are back to where they should be (and no weird rich part either). ...look at this map.

200%+ increase in fuel, overnight?! WTF?!

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.
