The only wrong part about giving up a pet is that you got one in the first place. You are already a bad pet owner, giving up your pets just relinquishes you from having a pet. It's a good thing.

Huh? Ive had them for over 4 years. Adrenal is an extremly common problem for ferrets. Basically something is wrong with his adrenal gland which it is over producing hormones and is causing him to loose his fur and making him lathargic. Its not me being unable to take care of the animlas that are causing them to be sick. My other ferret had an enlarged spleen and it was heriditary and thats why he passed away.
The problem is that I dont know that much about the disease. I know the symptoms to look for but obviously Diane at the rescue would know more. Because obviously we all arent vets....
