No, 400 magazines are a BAD thing....and it'll ruin you, and all you have to do is fill out those little subscription cards with their name on it. They then have 3 choices:
1) Pay all of the magazine subscription fees. 400 at $10-20 per...that's $4,000 - 8,000, not counting really expensive ones like the Wall Street Journal, GQ, and some of the British mags.
2) Write letters to every publisher requesting cancellation of the subscriptions. The problem is, you don't know what's coming until it starts arriving. Surely, even if you wrote 375 letters, 25 will slip through the cracks.
3) Don't pay any of them and get placed for collection, with entries on your credit, 400 times. Yes, they'll hunt you down like a dog over a $15 magazine subscription....at an average of 10 beacon score points (dropped) per collection account, they'll easily have a credit score that's in the toilet and can't buy a stick of gum on credit until they sort this out....
