That's your car this happened on? I feel like I'm seeing this everywhere.
Best bet, see if SPL can sell you replacement dampers. And then you'll be fine. The only other way I can think of fixing it, it to completely disassmeble the damper and replace the shaft or just the adjuster part of it. Either of which you aren't going to be able to get from KTS.
Actually, it looks almost identical to a silkroad damper I took apart a while ago. I still have all the parts and I think the adjuster still worked on the silkroad, or at least as well as it ever would. I'll need to double check and make sure I have the pieces, so it might fit in there and then you could just replace the shaft. But there might be an issue with refilling the gas in the damper and it could require some modification. So it might not be worth trying to do.
So best bet is probably just trying to get replacement dampers or just dealing with it and getting something good sometime soon.
What's the 8mm screw that you're talking about? It doesn't look like there is anything there. It just looks like the nut holding the damper into the housing and maybe I just don't see where the screw is.
As far as adjusting manually, if it was seized before and caused the adjuster shaft to fail, then I doubt there's going to be any way to do it now.
