And i think the quote goes i would rather be judged by 12 then carried by six. If 5 guys come up to me with knives on the street and surround me and say they are going to kill me i am sorry but the gun is coming out i know they only have knives but there are 5 of them. I would take a brandishing charge anyday of the week over being dead. I am not saying i am going to show my weapon at the drop of the hat but given a threatening situation and feeling my life is in danger i am much less likely to be worried about being charged with brandishing.
