dude, you drive a 2001 lx civic with a 1.6L single cam. its a terrible chassis to even 'tinker' with. since your hearing noises from the engine, maybe you shouldn't be beating it. if i were you id sell it for an older model civic (if you want to stay within hondas) and get a turbo kit.
