i read the first few responses. ill have to agree that the wrx and evo leave a lot to be desired. theyre so brilliant that theyre no longer a drivers car IMO. maybe i didnt drive them long enough. i flogged an evo + exhaust + EXED on my favorite back road. sure it was fast. i wasnt impressed. i guess its too smart. it wasnt all that fun.

then i drove a modded wrx (TMOC, FMIC, upgraded turbo, electromotive, etc etc) first i drove it on a 3hr trip thru south east NY state mountains. it got me a ticket. 65 in a 45. down hill. i couldnt feel what was going on under me. i couldnt tell i was speeding unless i looked at the speedo. it was cool when i hit the loud pedal, but other than that i wasnt all that impressed. drove it again a few months ago. upgraded brakes x4 corners (STi rear, somethin else front), STi g-box, rota slips in 17x8 i think+ falken 615s? upgraded go fast **** and a retune. i was the hotshoe for the retune. it was fast. a little laggy, but 2.0L+big turbo will do that. it still has that "whats goin on under me" feel, but the 615s really helped with that A LOT. 615s are brilliant rubber and i highly recomend them.

oh yea i regularly drive a 240 and a 87 corolla gts. the 240 is a little bit "whats goin on". i fixed that mostly with tein HE and solid subframe bushings. more suspension bits on the way. the corolla is all business. enclosed gokart. if you have the means to pick one up i highly recomend that too.
