You can improve your current brake setup substantially by upgrading the components in your current rotor/caliper setup... listed in order by benefit/price order: pads will really change your braking, getting a more aggressive street pad can work wonders even by itself. the next thing I would recommend would be stainless steel lines and better fluid, then for better feel if you want to take it a step farther a master cylinder brace. Replace rotors when you have to, but thats the only time to do that.

If you really do want to replace the whole system I would recommend WRX front brakes if you are on a budget, or the subaru 4 pot fronts. "H6" rears are an inexpensive but effective upgrade for the rear.
