I am usually under the impression that if you create a promotional banner than you would take the time to use proper grammar and check your spelling as it promotes professionalism and looks like someone who knows what they are doing is promoting it.
So, why not put forth the effort and correct it? If you are hosting a meet in an attempt to get to know people, put forth a good impression please (for your sake, not mine). If I were to try to organize a meet I would make sure that everything I typed would be right so I would get a proper response from the people on the board.
Just giving some pointers - if it just being promoted on this site and this site only, you might want to edit it. Not to sound like a jackass, but seriously, typos are a sign that you don't give a **** enough to make it nice, and then not editing it after people point it out?
