My advice would be, consider your long term goal regarding your suspension setup, then make the proper choice.

If you don't, you're just pissing away money.

If you really want to make the car handle, coilovers like the Tein Type Flex are probably more in line with what you're looking for. If you just want to lower your car, grab some Eibach springs and be done with it. Just remember, that if you use nearly any aftermarket lowering spring with your stock shocks/struts, they're going to blow them out. They weren't designed to work with those springs. Best bet is to replace both at the same time.

But like I said, evaluate what your long term goal is before you drop $500-600 on springs/struts and decide what you want to do. It sucks waiting to make it happen, but in the long term, you spend a lot less money because you didn't buy a setup you won't be happy with and have to change it again.
