Well is this for a race car or a Daily driver...more likely for most people heat soak isn't going to make a huge difference but yes colder air makes more power...even a turbo has an intake and the cooler air entering the turbo keeps the air temps down too, maybe not as much as a factor as a NA car but with my setup I tried to make my turbo intake suck air from out side of the engine bay
