Yeah, on the stockers the E-C-L-I-P-S-E letters are stickers and they come right off.
But I saw this done on an accord once..., You take your euro/altezza (whatever you wanna call them) and buy red taillight tinting spray for like 20 bucks online and tint the whole taillight red. I obviously prefer the stock taillights more, but if you don't feel like spending the $$ to buy them, then this is a better alternative then just keeping the altezza's the way they look now.
I can't find the picture of it, but this is generally what it looks like...
Say, they look like this to begin with..

Then you tint them red, and you can still see the circles or whatever in the actual taillight, but it looks better-cleaner. On the accord i saw, it actually looked really good, I was even thinking abotu doing it to my accord.
But it would generally turn out to look like this:

(these taillights arent tinted, but i cant find an actual pic of anyone who has done it cause im in a rush.... but again, it is what it would look like if you did tint them)
idk, just an idea. You could get away with doing that and spend the $$ that you would have spent buying stock taillights and put it towards buying stock (or just different) rims.... or a stock bumper, lol
I hoped you would have talked them down a lot on the price of it though. Aftermarket (esp body parts) are supposed to devalue a car a lot, when being sold by a dealer (i know you said it was a guy that worked their who was selling it.. but same difference). Or I would hope it has really low miles.
but anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do with her though.
