I dont agree with that. I used to drive through manhattan on a weekly basis and you really have to be on your toes and be alert when driving through that city. Otherwise you are going to nail a pedestrian or a bus that stops in the middle of the road without warning to pick up passengers. Its pretty much a road race where ever you go in the city, if you do the actual speed limit in the city of 35 you are just going to slow up traffic or get nailed by taxi. Rule of thumb when driving in NYC, "worry about whats in front of you and not behind you". As long as there is no car next you, i mean door to door, if they are at your back quarter pannel feel free to slide over in front of them, they will slow down  |
