playing games using bootcamp? good idea, except that no macs that run windows have upgradable graphics cards, and little in the way of upgrades for other components.

I definitely agree, windows manages memory far better. I agree, that apple has an image of being more secure but even still I run symantec AV and hardware firewall on it.
No, no intel macs have upgradeable video cards but the cards that come in the macbook pro's arent to shabby. If you're playing crazy highend graphics it would be an issue, but for average games you should have no problems.
I own both, and I use each for their own purpose. So i'm pretty unbiased. Both have their merits. I mainly use my Apple for recording my sets from my tables and then editing so it'd be presentable for a cd.
