Just in case you missed it because you were typing.
I just wonder where the cops are during all of this. It's not like it was a quick 1 minute riot, they were out there for a while.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with a smaller version of this when I lived in Beverly, NJ. We were like a block off the "projects" and occasionally you had to circle around the block. There would be groups of society's finest out drinking 40's at 10AM, walking in the middle of the street. They would make no attempt to get out of the road as you rolled up behind them, and if you were to beep to move them, they would spit on your car or throw stuff at it(yes, even the precious OE!!!).
I do not regret getting out of that neighborhood one bit. It's a shame no one wants to rise above thuggery.
