Nah, that's why I ended up passing. They were $10K over market as it was. They weren't willing to drop on the price and they weren't willing to credit me anything towards fixing the problems (which surprised me!)
People make a big deal about the things they see on HGTV because of resell. I personally don't care about the insulation but I know it will make a difference when going to sell it in 5 years.
Most buyers in this area are using programs with PMI so multiple inspections are required- and both of the glaring issues with this house would fail a PMI inspection, thus resulting in lowball offers and/or no sale.
Wasn't worth the hassle and potential to take a hit if there are 500 other houses on the market in my area- the search goes on!
