You can go to any shop you want. It's between the shop and State Farm if there are discrepancies in the price. I just dealt with this kind of situation on my jeep.
They told me to go to their shop, I went for an estimate. Went to a real shop and got a real estimate. They cheaped out on labor at the State Farm recommended shop.
They have their set "budget" on what they pay out but fact is (if you aren't at fault) that their customer hit your car so
If you aren't happy, they aren't done (within reason).
