I've also read a few places that its best to stay a little under the max limit of electric smokers as the heating elements will have to work OT with too much meat. I'm sure its more brand specific of an issue but either way I'd rather only need it running at 50% then 90%

I was thinking the same thing, they also sell replacement elements on their website. Their charcoal grill actually looks pretty sweet too.
