Long story short: Insurance is covering a new front rim and tire after I hit some construction zone metal substructure in the road Saturday night. The wheel couldn't be repaired, and BMW is ordering a new one courtesy of my collision coverage.

Funny part is that that wheel needed to be refinished anyway, so this works out well, haha.

I get the new wheel and tire Wednesday. Until then I'm driving a Jeep Patriot (AMERICA>>>>F YEAH!!)

While my car is parked with a jack under it, I attacked those saggy A pillar covers and replaced the floor mats with some new OEM ones. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the old passenger side a pillar cover while it was installed (because it was hideous).

So I'll put up some here. I also have to replace the center console piece but I couldn't remove the one in there because the two screws holding it down were spinning freely. (To an online FAQ I go).

In the meantime, enjoy some finishing touches to the interior to bring it back to like-new condition.

Fabric separates from the glue drying out over years.

Here's the center console piece I need to learn how to remove. You can see all the scratches, which is why it's being replaced.

I know the leather seats need some Gliptone...but for a 2004 interior, this looks pretty damn good.

Next up will be the new wheel and tire (duh), the center console piece, the new headlight covers, and the "new" TCU to see if I got BlueTooth or a dud.

Interior is about 99% done now. Sexy.
