Ok i posted in engine perfomance about this, but no one was answering & im in need of some help asap.
I believe i have clutch chatter, the car shakes violently when im letting off the clutch in reverse, it gets so bad that i have to put the clutch back in and roll back.
My car was going into gear great, never had any grinds or anything.
Now, it won't go into first from a dead stop or reverse, i have to almost wrestle it. Once i get moving, ther car goes into gear great with no problems.
it's also making a noise when the clutch is pushed down.
I pulled the trans and the flywheel is bent & it was wearing down the teeth on the starter.
What I don't understand is that, before i pulled the tranny i put a new drivers side axle & starter and it fixed the problem for a day, & then it started happening again.
I replaced all of the motor mounts already, too see if that was the problem.
The clutch was replaced in december by the previous owner with a brand new exedy stage one clutch
I ordered a new exedy stage 1 clutch kit and a fidanza light wheight fly wheel, do you think this will fix my problem? I just want to get some opinions before i go ahead and do this.
Also, could it be a internal problem with my transmission?
