I do have to admit though, when I get Indian at any restaurant, I stick to two dishes - eggplant or cauliflower...no meat. So i don't have much to compare to when it comes to some of the adventurous stuff other people try. Aman's rice is probably the best I've had of the three or four Indian places I've been.
There was one place we used to go to out in Red Hill that closed. That's where I was introduced to Indian... it will probably always have a small place as "the best" in my mind. they only made my dinner too spicy once. haha I never made that mistake again.
dammit. now I want Indian...mmmm or Persian.

There is a mongolian (I think) hookah place near Fort Washington. I forget the name or where it was at. We went with friends. They have crazy dishes like a hummus and olive oil plate as well as a whole chicken! The chicken is sooo tender. The food was SOOOO good. Need to get back there. But speaking of good Hummus, Arpeggio was fannnnnnnntastical.
