In every other respect the doors work like normal doors HOWEVER they are NOT listed by the manufacturer as being suitable for "on-road" or city driving, I can say from my own experience other than being TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL the doors are as quiet as factory and since they are the original door, only the MOUNTING MECHANISM has changed you have the same SUBARU quality part on your car.
