the article I think applies to the vast majority of new riders but there of the select few that just have that natural talent to learn new things and adapt faster than others can. overestimating your riding abilties can be deadly but this doesn't mean everyone needs to start out on a ninja 250 to get into the bike scene either, hell i'm sure their are plenty that have started out on 1000's with no problem. too each his own I guess is was im trying to say. besides basic laws of physics, no one rule or statment applies to all 100% of everyone.
